I would happily cross-list all of my caches on oc-uk, but those running the site have declared it "pointless" to do so.  I think it's far from pointless.  By having an entry on gc.com as well, you are bagging the space.  And how else does oc-uk ever think it's going to grow?

I think the $30/year is reasonable value.  I don't pay simply because I don't like the way GS conducts its business.  If everyone felt the same and GS went under, it wouldn't bother me.  Whoever stepped into the void would surely give a damn about their customers more than GS does.

PS - what is your name on GC.com, cx6?
You mean you don't remember who created the UK's 1st geocaching Challenge?   :P

It's for that sort of ineptitude that I cancelled my premium membership.

I should look into opencaching.  As a coder, I could probably add something (besides my caches, that is).

GS are impervious to customer opinion.  They won't bring back virtuals.  And, yeah, I'm a little peeved for having lost my challenge too.

And they're gone.  All traces removed, just as GS threatened.

Are you sad to have lost the UK's 2nd Challenge, Griff Grof, and the 38th in the world?   ;)
