When posting walks..

(1/1)

Griff Grof:
This area of the forum is here to share and list walks in one convenient place... after all, the forum is called CacheWalker  :D This week we've started to revamp the walks section, by adding new features such as maps and gallery integration.

When posting walks please ensure you do as much of the following as you can:

1) List any caches found along the route (how many?)
2) State the distance of the walk
3) Describe it briefly - what's the terrain like? Has it got nice views?
4) Post directions - if you know the walk well...
To ensure your posted walk get's listed ASAP on the map, and to help users, please also:
5) Post a link to the first cache
AND/OR
6) Post the starting coordinates/grid reference (should no caches be on the walk)

There are no rules as to where the walks are - they can be in the UK or beyond - so get posting and sharing walks like never before!

Griff Grof:
Have updated our Walks page.

There's a larger map (with updated walk details) and a new way to submit walks: via a form. This should make it easier for more people to share walks if they want to  :)

So, feel free to post walks here, or simply fill out the form (which shouldn't take too long) and the map will be updated ever so often with submissions!

Will see how it goes for a couple of months, if not many people use the form I'll probably remove it rather than keeping it live.
