Well we had a good dump of snow over night and I see from the Met Office News Blog, that it's official, that we had the most snow this year in the UK at 30cm and it's been snow again today :o :o :o

Wow! We've got a good few inches still in our gardens and on the paths, but most of the main roads are clear here now. I managed to get out towards Gloucester today to do a bit of walking, and got there quite easily. The walks through the fields around Shurdington though were hard going with a few inches of snow and many inches of mud underneath.

Edited to add, link to the Wilts and Glos Standard report on the snow:

We saw Little Rissington on the national news on Wednesday  :o

We had quite a lot of snow, 15cm with 25-30 in places due to drift  8) After last nights rain, however, looks like its all going to disappear soon  :(

The funny thing about all this, is that the weather station is on the airfield at Upper Rissington but as it was known as RAF Little Rissington, it is refereed to as Little Rissington, which is down the hill from us :o

We had rain last night and now the roads are lethal :(
