Will be interesting to see how the screen on the newer model compares to mine too, TJ (I have an iPad 2, bought before the Retina one existed  :o )

But yes, yours looks like it has some plus points, particularly the mapping/GPS one. If you have it tomorrow, would be nice to briefly see what it's like... I was hoping to use mine for that, but with no 3G (an extra £100 for a 3G model!!!) it wasn't going to work :-\
