Disillusioned with Geocaching?
Or disillusioned with the influx of new Geocachers?

(especially those that when not logging with "TFTC" actually say exactly where and how the cache is hidden...)
I have a Geocaching problem...
Work gets in the way!

Although Geolympix was a great Event and I enjoyed the day, I like the Annual roving Mega, as it takes me to different parts of the UK and gives me time to look round :)

Never been to a mega event, closest I came is the Halloween Hides & Creepy Caches back in 2011, wasn't mega status back in those days.

No routine checks of mine, except one which is on my regular short walk I do usually on a Friday lunch time from work which takes in one of my caches and one of Pir8s.

I normally completely maintain my two loops once a year.

If an issue is report, it normally takes me months - currently awaiting some nagging  :-\

I'm actually contemplating archiving all my caches, or offering them for adoption   :o

If I go close by any of my caches, I'll check them and glad I did on my Saintbridge one the other day. No reported problems but I found it out in the open and looks like someone may have squashed it :o

Random maintenance checks usually, but I do check all logs and act accordingly as soon as I can, to the five caches we have locally.  The other one is a bit far away but fortunately it has never been a problem as it doesn't get a lot of visits and is a very tough screw top drinks container chosen especially for the role.

Went with option 4, most of my caches are puzzles, multi's and a single Wherigo, these don't get found too often so don't require much maintenance.

I would take Archie more often but he just doesn't do stiles and at 36kg, he's heavy to lift and with long legs that go stiff when I pick him up, so awkward as well.
