I'm always game, as long as I can get there  :D

As SangueG said, I did host one back in May and I also have anyone on 14th August but it is too far south for some and weekday, properly will be the last weekday one I'll do, I just knew it was in the middle of holidays for some.

IMHO:

Dipped in a virtual cache, say in another country without any evidence of any other local caches visited and then brought back, No.
Dipped in a virtual cache, say in another country then dropped off in another cache nearby to that virtual, Yes.
Dipped in an actual cache Once, but then taken on to another local cache and dropped off, Yes
Dipped in several actual caches, but then taken on to another local cache and dropped off, Only the first dip.

Ah fully understandable! IS there anyway of finding out if they also grabbed any other physical caches on the same day nearby or if not then disqualifying that dip?

Umm, could someone please clarify, is this discussion about TB dipped in a Virtual cache or TB being dipped in any cache?

4)Virtual drops will not be counted - TBs must be dropped & collected by different Cachers (if moved on by the same Cacher only the first jump will be counted)

- The TB was Dipped (virtual drop) and is still in the hand of the cacher
- as you said it was their first drop, but as that was a dip, does it count?

Thus returning to my original question on whether all those miles should be counted or not  :o  :-\ (We must remember no other dips have been counted and added to other bikes totals,  so, again, don't know why TB run has added it to Mel's - it's set not to count them!  :o)

In other news I think we should say once a bike goes missing it can't re-enter into the race until next year - poor me!  :'( does everyone else agree?

Edit: TB run adds mileage from the first dropped or visited ONLY of each cacher. But does that agree with our published rules?  ???

I might be the newbie here, but it doesn't go against the rules IMHO because why make the person drop off, and then pick up which is more work, when ONE dip is the same thing? I'm all for them to dip only once, but to then drop off.

Sorry to hear that Griff.

I found out my folks might buy me PM for my birthday which is in October, and by that point be caching for over a year, but I've tried not spending any more money than travelling on caching because I wanted to see how well I could do without opening the wallet.

I am jealous though, because this series is close to one of my friends, and I started showing her family caching and they haven't gone PM too. Another time it will be.

A good puzzle cache solved and couldn't resist the FTF, so off I went today :)

And as you do, stopped off for three other caches, one of merit as it's placed near some old locks which are all grassy now.

Bugger! You managed to work it out Walktall.. Well Done, been working on that for the past 3 days.. oh and Siddington Lock is good isn't it? :)

No catching today, but out tomorrow.. :)

Last night I noticed the option for about 12 different types of maps, which I was shocked at, maybe GC have bugs at the moment?

Quoting the poster:
Forums are where YOU control what you see. Facebook is where THEY control what you see.

Amen.

Just out of curiosity, I noticed there is a Forum Gallery, but only Walktall and Griff have used it.. Is it something worth having, If not used by everyone?
