This was a very successful event with nearly 40 attendees. The pub did a roaring trade in food and drinks. The raffle raised £43 for a local dog rescue centre and most of the 73 new caches were found by a good number of you. When I got home I had over 500 new emails and by the time I had read them all (about 2 1/2 hours) later I knew folks had had a good day caching. Some of the groups I met as I biked down the trail had grown. One had about 3 families (about 20 cachers of all ages) looking for a bear in a tree.

I am going to rest for a while and carry out some maintenance on my other caches but be warned I already have the stirrings of the next event in my head and thinking of a camping event in the future so some of you from accross the border may be tempted to come and see what is normal for Norfolk.

There are now 59 caches  along Marriots way from near Marl pit to the Scrapyard cache. All reviewed that will be published on the day at 11am. THE PATH IS VERY MUDDY so wellies recommended. They are in a line and it is about 7 miles from one end to the other. I have been out checking them and all the ones I have checked are in place but as some have been out for 3 months leaf cover will make FTFs a real challenge HEHE. There are currently 10 caches in Drayton going live early in the morning and reviewer permitting there will be a few more.

Dogs are allowed in the pub beer garden if on leads. The garden shuts at dusk.

I have a number of commemorative wooden discs that will be on sale and there will be a raffle which will be drawn at about 9pm. All money raised is going to the rescue home that Bouncer came from.

I hope you will all find time to pop in at some stage during the day or evening. I will be there all day except when I take the boys home at dusk but Fussy Bears will be on hand helping with all the tech-bits and generally sorting out all the things that go wrong.

Dam your eyes Walktall I am starting to believe that you have been ever where. I really thought this one would run a while but NO. Well done it is Swildon's hole in Priddy on the Mendips.
If I get another go I will have to think even further out of the box to try and catch you out.

Well done over to you. Bouncer says can we have another dog picture please,

I have delved deep into my old photo albums and this is what I found. It was taken way before the digital age and where the photographer was not keen on taking expensive equipment
This one may be too hard so I have put two photos of the same location together. If you deem it unfair I will find another more familiar photo. But the game is called Where IN the world and I am still trying to find somewhere that gets a few guesses and that WalkTall has not been

We  are all scratching our heads, No we have not got fleas. Boys are saying how majestic Tim looks but are worried about how he lost his front paws.

Second guess because I have decided it looks like the Irish coast is

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland

We all know some bizarre facts or statistic, some may be true others make us wonder how or why we know that. Well time to release those little gems that no one else knows and more than likely does not want to know.

Did you know-
You are 5 times more likely to die from falling out of bed than whilst flying! I now sleep with a parachute on.

Anyone else Know anything that we all should know but don't??
Over to you

DING well done over to you Walktall.
West Stow is a favourite place of mine. I used to be involved id Dark Age re-enactment and lived on the re-construction village a few weeks each year. The photo was taken early on a Feb morning at the start of a weeks filming. It was cold but fantastic fun and we got paid.

I can assure you that this is not Willy Cley near Swafffham in Norfolk although the pictures on their web site are a mixture of photos from 2 different locations, one the location I have submitted for you to guess at, the other is C**kley Cley. If you look at the four pictures on their web site and look at the trees you will see that two photos have the same tree line as the one I have posted and the other 2 have different species of trees not in the other photos also there are marked differences in the house construction and fence type in the 2 sets of photos,

Sorry but it really really is not ****ley Cley near Swaffham in Norfolk

Anyway back to the subject of the game and HA it is not Male Hen  (or something like that) Cley.
Wow I feel clever now someone will have to have another guess. wonder if I can build it up to 3 wrong guesses.
Oh and could this be somewhere Walktall has not been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay lets see if this one can last more than one guess. It is not the one I hoped to use as I only have an old photo of that and could not get a good digital image of it. But this is a photo of a photo of somewhere

The walk way and stairs at the Buddha Monastery in Sha Tin Hong Kong. I think I remember my brother showing me a photo similar to this after he came back from a posting.
