Title: Hunters Walk series 3 - near Dodford, Worcestershire
Post by: Hogshunters on October 16, 2016, 11:38:18 am
George and I did this walk last Friday with a couple of friends and Tilly dog. It was about 10kms, mainly through woodland. Some of the caches seemed to be off pathways so some of the walking was a bit more strenuous than we anticipated [ unless of course we went wrong!]. We enjoyed the variety of caches found - about 21 [ this included a Church micro and 4 that weren't in the series but on the loop. The stiles were poorly maintained so care was needed when climbing over. Tilly managed to scramble through all stiles. The sting in the tail was no.16 - a D5, which we DNF'd - our brains and legs were tired and not functioning too well at this point [ that's our excuse anyway  ;D] We will return to try and find that one when we go to do another loop at Chaddesley Corbett. Jenny and George  :)

GC of cache no1 is: GC2N6YW. We parked in Dodford Church car park to start the walk - plenty of parking - not sure about Sundays though!
