For those interested and not at work, the Vulcan will be flying over RAF Gaydon, so a chance to see this magnificent aircraft  8)

I lived near Kineton until I was 10 and we used to regularly see them at very close quarters.  It flew over here a couple of years ago at a very low level, banked around and they opened the throttle and off it went - stunning.  One of these taking off is something to behold.

It arrived at 3:15pm. I was at the end of the old runway, on a country lane  ;D

The road near to the bunkers, that may - or may not - have stored the 'nuclear deterrent' at the time the Vulcan was stationed at Gaydon.

Good choice. Ten minutes and 4 fly pasts over the Heritage Motor Centre.

A local talked about the bunkers, explaining where they were :) I decided that the HCM would be rather busy and the end of the runway a better choice (and cheaper).
