Title: My cache needs help
Post by: walktall on March 25, 2014, 10:07:08 am
Following on from a conversation on a thread on the Cotswold Caching forum, thought I should post this here as well.

Life sometimes gets in the way with caching and that cache that needs maintenance is some way down the list of priorities and now the reviewers are threatening to archive it or it just needs fixing.

As a group of cachers, Cotswold Caching & CacheWalker, we could help support each other when life gets in the way and if a cache of yours needs desperate maintenance, one of us could go and fix it - what do we think?

I've just added my response on this on the thread on Cotswold Caching (which some others have also replied to): -

"I'd be up for that. How would we let each other know about it? Start a new thread on here or CW, as and when the need arises?

I try to offer help to people when I know I'm going to be out on a series, as I know having a lot of caches out can mean maintenance can't always be done as perhaps as ought.

Gackt very kindly helped me out on one of my frequently visited caches a year or so back when I was in need of a little help (as I was out of circulation due to having just been in hospital)
."
