This could so easily get out of hand and damaged caused.

Some cachers had problems with the rules before, e.g. dry stone walls but at least we all knew this was wrong, so could report it or more friendlier, mention the rule to the CO. So will they ask for permission from the land owner and how will a cacher know that this hole has permission ???

It just adds ambiguity :o and I'm not carrying a spade in my cacher's tool kit ::)
