Winchcombe Series

A 9 mile walk with plenty of caches.

Shame they were published ahead of such a horrible day :o

Will anyone here get the FTFs?

I may not be able to complete it until late August, since I've not got it pencilled in ahead of my 2000th so I'll have to watch my numbers soon. :(

Planning to complete the GCW Central ring tomorrow, but could swap another series I had pencilled in for this week for this one as it does look good  :)

From next Tuesday, there'll pretty much be no more caching until after May 22nd (exams)  :(

Chalk up a couple for me ;D

Having now logged them, I see in fact it is only one of the W series, the other two new caches by HKMHill were: Container Themed Cache and a Church Micro :)

I didn't have time to do the whole series so chose the east loop that you can make, missing out Winchcombe. For the bonus, I only didn't have 'B' but that was guessable :)

Great views and a good walk even though I didn't do it all.

That's another FTF calendar date filled in :)

Well done!

We completed the GCW yesterday.
We almost went to do the Winchcombe series, so we would have started at 8am - would that have been before you? :D

May do it next weekend as my last caching trip before stopping for more and less full time exam revision.

What did you think of the GCW Griff?

And to stay on topic. I am looking forward to doing the new Winchcombe series. In reality it will probably be some weeks yet though.

What did you think of the GCW Griff?

Thought it was fantastic, we did it over three sunny days as well. There were some soggy caches and a few missing ones (had 5 DNFs overall) but there were plenty of extra ones along the way to supplement them... It really was a great Cotswold walk :)

Now to wait for our broadband to be back so that I can log them and write my blog post for it. :D

Going back on topic, I also can't wait to do this series whether it's next week or in a few months :)

Completed the whole series this morning in the sunshine :)

An absolutely fantastic walk, with brilliant views all the way round. The caches were there to be found, and many were well stocked and well hidden :)

Hopefully getting Internet back tomorrow, so will log the caches then and write my blog posts for both this series and the GCW.

My last proper caching trip until after my exams. :(
