Go to YouTube and search for 'pocket query'.

Should be the 1st result.

Ok, new guy here, but I thought I'd share something.

I use C:Geo on my smartphone to do caching, and not brilliant for GPS, but I cope with it. I'm still very new to it, and I've not yet worked out half the things people have mentioned 'PQ' ? 'GPX' ? I might be young but I prefer sitting down and learning things from others.

Going on the topic, C:Geo does actually tell me where PMO caches are, right down to centermetres on my phone, but as a basic member, I won't pay for a hobby I want as cheap as possible, but getting the most out of it. I haven't claimed a single PMO, because of own morals, I leave those for people who have paid for it.

I've heard that C:geo and some other third party software gives access to some things they should maybe not, but haven't looked into it myself.

As for logging premium caches you have found if you are not a premium member.. this shouldn't be a problem, mostly. Many people do this via known backdoor method. Sometimes families who have more than one caching account in the same household, but do not all have premium membership.

If it was me personally, and if I had a basic membership, I would log them if I have found them, but I would contact the cache owner first to check that they are ok with me doing so. Most will be I am sure.

There is a known 'Back door' for logging Premium Member Only caches. (There's a couple of ways!)
Groundspeaks view is - If you Found the cache and signed the log, you can log online.
If the cache owner deletes the log you can appeal to Groundspeak. (You need proof you signed the log. Photo of the log book/sheet with you name and previous finders shown would be enough.)

The Back door was closed a few years ago after an update to the site.
Jeremy (GS owner) got it added back in and said it would stay in.

It is there mainly for families to log, but if you can work out where the cache is, or stumble on it, why shouldn't you log it?
