This week...

Think I've managed to get one of the suveneer thingies...
Logged YOSM in Southampton on Monday. YOSM has 496 Favourites, so I think it qualifies for a suvvy!  :D
All I need to do is log it, and send the email with the required info...

Thursday saw me in Inverness, managed to find the SideTracked cache, and that will make my 'Furthest North' cache so far this year.  ;D

And found a cache today on the way back home from Inverness, three days in a week with a cache find!  :o

Just need to find time to log this large backlog of finds...  ::)

Completed the Chedworth Wood Ramble series today and managed to incorporate the older Multi  :)

A great walk and series, just what we needed this afternoon  :)

Am now just 10 caches away from my 2000th!  ;D

Maintained my Westcote Wander series today.

Was sad to archive WW06, WW16 and Icomb Place  :'(

The former two were in a state of disrepair, whereas the latter goes missing once a year  :o

Otherwise everything else was okay. Still a lovely walk, even better on a day like this  ;D

Today I was out in my kayak about 500ft from Wrighy's new cache when it was published. Did you see us playing in the weir Griff?

Saturday - a short toddle around Wickwar with Mrs YY and the geokids, picking up some Little Bridges, a Church Micro, an earthcache and another cache.

Today we took the opportunity to visit Imber village , taking in  the church and a walk around this interesting venue, the weather helped today with the rain as we we able to walk around without any crowds , over a 1000 visited the site over the week-end. A lovely cup of coffee in the church and a photo opportunity at the virtual. Then off to Westbury for a sidetracked

Sounds good @Yorkshire Yellow and @higster  :)

Today we went to Upton House and Gardens, had a good afternoon looking around :)

We found a cache placed by the NT just off the grounds before going home too  :)

So what did everyone do for International Geocaching Day?

We had a fantastic 13 mile walk in the Chilterns , near Turville, finding 40 caches along the way :)

Sounds great Griff! Red Kite country. It was whilst walking in that area some years ago (before I started caching) that I first saw some of those birds up close. Did you see any today?

Sorry you had to work Wrighty.

I had quite a few commitments that took much of the day, but I did get to do one new fun cache, The (Water) Crystal Maze.

Sorry to hear you were working today @Wrighty  :(

Looks like a good puzzle @Gackt, well done as it was an STF  :)

Saw several red kites. Had lunch in a lovely spot and two put on a 'show' for us, then we saw several more later. We also saw a cuckoo  :)

Saturday - two C&D's for the Int Geo Day souvenir whilst stopping at the in laws near Wakefield.

Sunday - sneaked in a virtual during a walk round Bolton Abbey whilst there with the wife's side of the family celebrating her father's 70th birthday.

Two Trees... By any chance? On my list!

Did Under Water? ( Cleveland ) http://coord.info/GCAB1B recently, and one of the nearby Church Micros (Yarm Methodist Church).
Interesting that the other caches in the area have been Found since, but not the Virtual.

Do wonder if a lot of cachers these days are on free phone apps, and basic members, and don't see the older caches/non-standard caches..?
Or dont want to do them.  :o

Always make a point of looking for any Virtuals, or older caches (2000 to 2004) whilst out.
I have a Geocaching problem...
