Finally got round to doing some maintenance on the first few of my Long Compton series. A few more to do but had both dogs with me, so no chance getting round the whole loop. A lovely walk in the sun today :)

Went back today, even hotter today, no dogs with me as I wanted to do the whole series and it's a bit far for their ageing limbs :(

Great views on a sunny day 8) A little bit of sadness at LCW07 :(

All caches now renewed ;D

So people do read and take note  :D

Not that I would expect people to remember but that series and associated event nearly got cancelled :o Yes there was all that snow just before but my Dad had just died and with his love of trees, LCW07 is in the base of a big old tree, this one particularly reminds me of him  :) :(

Hoping to find a few caches today as we're busy tomorrow  :(. May well end up revisiting the area for my series to sort a few more things out.

I was going to ask, this thread is in Members Only and so only visible to those who are members and have made at least one post. Would people like this to be moved to the main forum so that possibly more people can contribute?

I would be happy for that. Have wondered why it was in this section?

Today I have been washing the car, sweeping the drive, doing clothes washing, shopping etc, all the exciting things in life. Tomorrow Will be at the Box event. xJ is working, so I think my eldest son is going to come along with me.

I decided to post it here initially so that people could feel more comfortable posting spoilers or asking to meet up if they wanted to.

I'll move it to another section later.

Hope a nice day was had at the event.

It was surprisingly well attended, thank you. Though, it couldn't of rained any more if it tried unfortunately, meaning everyone was crammed into the little pub, which was not the plan, but didn't hear any moans thankfully.

Dave Womble made an appearance and brought the cuckoo cache which made the day for a few people.

Glad it went well, just with the village summer fete the previous day and then tidy up on the Sunday, I found I didn't have time to go :(
