A 260 mile round trip today for an event cache. Managed to squeeze in a new TC cache on route which was very similar to the Confluence Task on the CC forum, got first to log on that one. Also a couple of OC caches near the event, one of which I was FTF :) Not a day of great quantity, but the caches were quality, and most importantly.. a fun day :)

Planned to do some gardening today but that wind was a bit keen today so went and found half a dozen caches in the Alcester area.

Wise choice Wrighty :)

I painted some pipes in the bathroom and then cut the grass, back and front.

I made the executive decision that our grass could wait another couple of days :D

Kids football day today, plus shopping. But I did squeeze in one FTF. Is was only half a mile from my home and on a dog walking route, it was almost like it was placed just for me ;D

I noticed that new cache but thought no chance of a FTF when I saw where it was  ::)

 ;D

It's great to see the CO 'Peeves & Co', put out another cache. The first multi I ever did was one of theirs 'Sheep' which starts in the centre of Cirencester. Their other couple of multis were good ones too. They seemed to have gone a bit quiet with caching until recently. If they are back properly for a while I will certainly look forward to any new caches they place.

Well done. No wet pants photos from you then :D I'll have to try harder next time to get you wet.
*that sounded wrong*

No caching for me today. Baby sitting tonight. Tempted by a 37km walk in the early hours, but wouldn't want to spoil a FTF for walk tall ;D

Ok so not 'Today' but in the last few days following a trip to Liverpool ...  :D

Picked up another two LQ's to move me onto 33 finds in the series:

LQ:Gtr Manchester - King of Swing
LQ:LANCS - Hunter's View

Decided to pick up some rare virtual caches whilst in the area:

Virtually On The Beach (Southport)
Trans Pennine Trail - Western End [S Lancs]
Alberts Famine
A Hale and Hearty Childe (Merseyside)

And of course I had to take in a puzzle cache, although this one can only be solved once on site:
Liverpools Musical Links

Sounds like you had a great trip then  ;D

I love the feeling of finding a virtual - and I think, actually, if they were brought back, then that would take it away  :-\

If virtual caches were bought back I probably wouldn't hunt for them, but given there are only around 200 in the UK there is something 'special' about hunting out the remaining ones, even if one of the recent ones I found was an old sewage pipe on the beach, at least it was sunny and it was on the beach  :D

There is always waymarking...

700th Unknown cache, wow, well done! That's a fantastic achievement. We know who to come to if we need help on puzzle solving then :D

I completed 2 TerraCaching LCs this morning. This afternoon was relaxed. We went to Swindon because eldest son was playing last footy match of the season. There was a micro near a KFC about 800m away, but it just couldn't tempt me. I am glad I didn't go look for that one as the match was an awesome final for them. His team won 10-1 ;D
