No caching done today. Intending to go out after work tomorrow to look for one to complete the next gap in the day grid. But which one to go for...

Been a good month for ticking off FTF day grid, got another one today ;D

PS Also found a new cache spot, could well be a 4.5 terrain 8)

Well actually yesterday....

Had a trip to London and picked up the two Little Quest caches whilst down there, also did five virtual caches and also a webcam cache that has been archived since 2003, sadly when I came to log the webcam the listing has now been locked, I guess the powers that be got wind of it when it was mentioned on the forums...

Sorry, probably my fault. I, stupidly, started a thread on GC.com about people logging the Severn Bore event that didn't happen and it got picked up that I had logged this archived Webcam.

It was that thread that alerted me to this webcam, so no worries, I was thinking maybe it could be listed on another site instead?

Went out for a ride this afternoon and found one on Castlemorton Common "5. On Common Ground.  Smelly." - GC3WHHA.  Took a while but it shouldn't have really, was almost as good as a FTF (whats one of those? we haven't had one since June '09) as its had a few DNF's since it was last found in August last year.  We did one other in the series and then had to go and do something useful  :(

Yes, but I think that's fine as long as the webcam is active and the listing isn't locked. An event - well, it was cancelled = no event.  :D

Typical for people to point it out though, isn't it  ;D

And reading some of the 'Attended' logs, some of them didn't even get close to the Event co-ordinates :o

I wonder if Dave Womble had permission from the land owner?

Can I assume it will be a 1.5 or 2.5 difficulty

Saturday - Did the 'Snowshill Scramble' and 'Meon Hill' circuits.  Started at around 9:15 am and finished in the dark at pushing 6:30 pm.

Sunday - Picked off most of the Avening circular walk I'd not done before, plus retrieved Gackt's #BA Oil Drum Lane' cache and found the lab cache he'd kindly placed for me.

Approx. 60 finds and 5 DNFs across the weekend.

Good going, I had Man Flu so didn't travel too far away from the couch.

I did one cache last week, is was sooooo muddy that I thought I wouldn't really be bothered about going out till things dry up. Well done for tackling Mean Hill, the 1st half is quite muddy when it is wet.

I was thinking 1.5, as it's the terrain that's interesting - tee hee ;)

Only problem is, I've first got to get the cache in place ::)

Today:
9 caches, doubles my total finds for the year!
1 an Unknown, and another 1 gets me the co-ordinates for another Unknown, which gets 2 big blue ?'s away from from my home co-ordinates!

Still surrounded by blue ?'s, but not so many.  ;D
I have a Geocaching problem...
Work gets in the way!
