New 5/5 cache
« on: January 04, 2015, 06:12:04 pm »
As some of you are aware I have been falling out of trees today in the quest for some FTF's. I never actually attempted my main goal of the day due an arguement with gravity.

However, this 5/5 I was after was off the footpath by some 30 - 40 metres. I sent the CO a message asking if permission had been gained and that reference should be put on the cache page.

He has now changed the description, I don't think it will stand scrutiny from a reviewer.

This is the cache page as it currently stands

Thanks  :)
Hopefully you achieve your goal soon... we can use this thread for discussion as everyone goes on to tackle it  :)

They don't allow links to a Geocaching forum, nor pre-event group walks..... I wonder how they'll react to a cache saying "no formal permission has been agreed to its location" :o ::)

You did the right thing asking the CO to mention it though!

Guidelines:
Geocache placements do not damage, deface or destroy public or private property.

Caches are placed so that the surrounding environment, whether natural or human-made, is safe from intentional or unintentional harm. Property must not be damaged or altered to provide a hiding place, clue, or means of logging a find.

I am planning a return visit on Saturday, although I may not bother if the FTF has gone
