Scottish Quest anyone?
« on: January 07, 2014, 10:18:33 pm »
Just noticed that there is now a Scottish Quest!  Quite a challenge for us lot down here but for anyone going to the Mega there are quite a few that can be collected on the way or in the area.

I saw this and think it's a a good idea!

I really wish there was a Welsh Quest too though, as there still isn't despite some discussion about it  :o

Some interesting locations... Some very careful planning needed for some of the caches!
I have a Geocaching problem...
Work gets in the way!

Shame the Welsh one never took off.
Maybe this will give them another push for a Welsh Quest?

Yes, we'd love to see a Welsh Quest.  Be a darn sight easier travel wise, unless there were some really difficult individual caches, on the face of it.

We've cached on the islands in the Scottish Quest so it will give as good reason to go back.  Orkney & Shetland are amazing places and well worth a visit even if you are not caching.

I think Scotland as a country is stunning as a whole, and hopefully the cache locations showcase this.

We were hoping to get up to the Scotland Mega, it looks unlikely now, though, as we might be abroad then - so I'm not too upset  :D

The date of the UK Mega never is never really conventional for me. I thought the Lake District date (11th August) was far better. But actually couldn't make that either even though we were all packed and ready to go due to some last minute issues with the extended family, we ended up driving down to Devon instead  :(
