How odd TJ, same thing happened to me today (though didn't contact the reviewer) - it was off the path, into a bit of woodland where the bluebells were just coming out  - a shame, though not that much damage has been done. Hope that some elephants don't come back 

It may be a wonderful hide, but why should it cause damage to the surrounding area? You did the right thing 

Shame my trip was cut short today, due to a head-ache I got around lunch time  - stopped my chances of finding my first Wherigo today too!  - oh well, maybe next time
