Best or Favourite Cache you've found?
« on: August 25, 2012, 12:31:02 pm »
Hi all! Haven't been caching in a while due to not many caches in my area anymore, if any of you didn't know, I moved to Spain about a year ago. Anyway, back to the point, I think my favourite cache must be Elder Statesman GC1ZTAJ, a great little cache by novicejock. What's your best or favourite cache you've found?

Good idea for a topic WR  ;D Notice the "edit" by me was to make it a sticky topic in this category  :)

I think I have to echo Elder Statesman, my "Cache of the Year 2010", super walk on on Cleeve that summers evening, and a great hide at the end... but I must also mention Starman, "Griff Grof's Cache of the Year 2011" -  GC11WFB - sadly you never got to find it with us WR  :'(

I'm sure it was a magnificent cache! I agree, with ES, it was an ingenious hide, let's not give it away for anyone else. And was in England at the time?

I have yet to do Elder Statesman, but I am seeing a lot of recommendations for it and so I would really like to have a go soon.

Fresh in my mind from yesterday, and not quite recovered from yet, I am going to note Earnanęs, žęs wyrmes denn as one of my top finds. Even though I have actually not logged it as a find online. I logged it as a note on the cache page even though I did find the cache and signed the log, as one section was too physically demanding for me.. this time. I will be back for another go when I feel ready.

It was a clever puzzle, although not the most complex set by abanazar. Was one of the most physically demanding routes I have walked, climbed, squeezed, crawled. An imaginative theme that ran throughout. Experienced fear and pain. Saw fantastic rock formations, cave spiders (had one on my face at one point), and bats flapping around my head.

I may of made it sound atrocious, but it was actually a fantastic experience.

Found an awesome cache today, so simple yet brilliant.

Cache is The Tin Pan Alley Band

It is a little alleyway where prospective musicians post details about themselves trying to find work. If you look at the photo close enough you may see something familiar.
