Looks good Griff.

Out that way today and the walk will be nearer to five miles.Have hidden nine caches and think that will be the final total. None to close to the village to allow space for any other caches ie Church Micro. A fine pair cache could easily be placed in their  immediate area.

I thought I was going mad, I couldn't find the event.

Turns out it was hidden behind Roman Road (Bonus), might be worth doing something about it???

Grif Grof - I would be happy to bring cakes/ biscuits to go with the tea and coffees and ask for donations [ as was done at the GIFF meeting] to boost funds.

Thanks @Wrighty, sounds good, will amend the page with regards to the distance of the walk  :)

Good point TJ, will need to sort this - although, if you move the event it could confuse people, just like if you move Roman Road Bonus people may not realise where to park - surprisingly some people don't read the cache descriptions for these things  :D

Thanks for the offer @Hogshunters, sounds like a good idea  ;D

Thanks for the replies - at least I can load the Church Micro one onto my GPS!

I suppose there isn't Wi Fi at the church hall is there?

The Church Micro will not be published till the day of the Event.

What normally happens is a list is generated and handed out at the Event if the new caches haven't been published.

Or

Cache owner sends out a list the night before on the understanding that no one goes out early to grab the FTF'a

That's a great help - thanks Walk Tall.
We weren't trying to get in early before the event, but as we would have to leave home for the event by about 8.30/9.00ish wondered if here would be time to load them into the GPS.

The nine caches for the walk have been given the green light and will be published on the morning of the event.

That's great. Only a week and a half to go  ;D

@Wrighty, did you agree a specific time in the morning? Just so I can make an announcement so people know when they can put them on their GPS's. If not, don't worry, we can just say morning  :)

I've also now got the green light for the Church Micro and A Fine Pair at Condicote. They will be published on the morning of the 3rd January, no specific time.

I will make the details available here the night before (as long as I don't forget :o ) on the understanding that no one goes out and gets them before hand :)

PS Griff are you changing the site back to normal, it's a right pain at the moment?

That's good. So are we going to hand a list out to people for all the caches (walk and extras) or do you think they'll be published early enough?

Things we still need to sort are the FTF draw prize and the 2016 TB race format and items to attach to TBs. Have had a look for Olympic things in eBay but haven't found anything. Has anyone else had any more luck?
The alternative is that we just run another CWSBC again.

PS - changed back. All working now, keeping it a little festive still with the logo at the top. :)
