So sorry to hear you were both struggling with a health problem - I think you did extremely well to get round the route in the awful conditions - especially the sticky and slippy mud [ having had knee surgery myself always makes me anxious in these conditions]
I agree the pace was fast, but as it was our first walk with the group we assumed that was the normal pace. I certainly struggled at times - in the muddy ruts and up the hills. I couldn't follow the route, nor have time to look at my gps so just followed the group. Perhaps the fast pace was indicative of the wish to get back to the hall and get dry and warm again? You were missed at the event - I heard several people wonder where you were.

So are all the people who attended  the event registered on cachewalker? I was surprised at the number of attendees considering the very few people who contribute to the forum.

Lets hope for better weather at the next twixmas/twinew event, so that everyone can enjoy it.
