That's good. So are we going to hand a list out to people for all the caches (walk and extras) or do you think they'll be published early enough?

Seeing what wrighty put and what I put, handouts will have to be done.

PS - changed back. All working now, keeping it a little festive still with the logo at the top. :)

Arrrr, that's better I can now read/see everything without loads of scrolling and highlighting :)

Are you both okay to make your own handouts? It would probably be better if someone made one handout for all the new caches. OR shall we make all the details avaliable for everyone here, as you suggested?

Had a look in Cheltenham for possible TB race items today - found nothing  :(

With the Twinew/Twixmas events I don't bother putting the caches in my GPS I just follow the masses.

TJ is correct, there has been many times I've not turned on my GPS :o

The handouts will have basic information including the co-ordinates, so you can create a waypoint and head to that. If it's a multi/puzzle/letterbox, then the handout will also include the information you need to work out the final waypoint.

I have created a GPX file for each of my caches, so could 'share wirelessly' it to another Garmin GPS that has this feature.

Thanks that's a help -  I'll probably do what TJ does [ George will be able to get them on his phone, but he 'forgets' to share the info with me - think its a devious plan to slow me down!]

Walk Tall - I have a Garmin Oregon 600 - will that share wirelessly? It would be interesting to see how it works if it does.

Have printed a few handouts for my caches.Nine trads, two regular, six small and one micro,no nanos 8).

Also if they are published early enough there will be cachers at the event with the caches in there Oregons and could also transmit them to your device.

It said the day of the Imber event was going to be sunny until two days before (it was rainy) so I think we'll have a better picture of what the weather will be like on Friday  :)

Fingers crossed though  :)

Does anyone have something which could be given as an FTF prize?

I'll post a reminder later this afternoon to say about the caches (in case anyone missed Wrighty's note), a reminder about the raffle and, of course, Happy New Year  :)

Hope the weather is wrong like it was for last weekend at this point  ::)

Would a bottle of champagne be suitable? You are welcome to have that if yes.

Getting closer.

So a few points.

Raffle tickets i presume someone has them and enough.

What time are you picking up the key or being let into the hall Griff?

Mrs Wrighty and Linda from L8HNB will not be going on the walk they are happy to stay at the hall to make coffee etc for anyone turning up whilst we are on the walk.We will bring coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

Finally do not forget your waterproofs :P
