We are going to need two CWFC prizes; has anyone seen a World Cup/ football-themed geocoin for the most milage, and perhaps a Brazil-themed one for the first to Brazil?

Also, whilst we're on this topic, do you think we should to re-launch the CWSBC at this year's event, or something new?

I was looking at the hall cost of Brailes Village Hall. A lot more expensive than Adlestrop (this year it's "£6.00 per hour with a minimum of 2 hours per booking").

Quote
Hire Rates

Local Rate (Parish Residents) £9.00/hour (Preparation time £4.50)
Outside Parish £12.50/hour (Preparation £6.25)
Licence Fee £10.00 (If you wish to provide alcohol or entertainment you must apply to the Committee for a Licence)

Electric cards for kitchen power £1.00

Hmm, that is more expensive!

But it's an ideal venue, and don't we have some money left over from other events?

Could always hold another raffle too, if we don't have enough.

Yes, £50 plus two used raffle ticket books which would do another raffle.

That's fine then  :)

Is Imber on again this year? We've had the 28th in place since March.

A bit nearer home. Willersey Village hall.

I have just archived the caches for the first Twixmas event so we could use that walk again.Saw some different hiding places whilst gathering the caches in last Monday.

I JUST managed to find them then, on my To Do list since Day 1  ;D

It's a nice walk, fantastic views, and it would be fitting to retrace steps for our 5th Twixmas bash, and 25th event overall.

I don't mind. Personally, I'd prefer Brailes as it's somewhere several of us haven't walked around before, and would be somewhere new and exciting - admittedly, harder to organise due to the distance - but I think the effort would be well worth it, and it would be an event we'd all remember for a long time to come.  :)

Can see a price list for Willersey Village Hall. Does anyone know the costs?

No, no, no, no, NO

We've had our date in place since March, though.

Would anyone from here be interested in going to that over Twixmas?

I really wish they would do their research first  >:(

Maybe we should change Twixmas to Twinew from now on  ???

Our first Imbibing Imber Twixmas gathering was in the Church in 2012 and were bowled over by the number of cachers who braved the rain to make the event the success it turned out to be. In 2013 we returned for Imbibing Imber II and to bright, Winter sunshine. We are very grateful to the Church for allowing us to be there.

What better than to attend a Geocaching Event between Christmas and New Year?
A time when we all want to walk off some of the excesses of Christmas! Here is your opportunity!

Hmm.... Aren't those words similar to that on the original Twixmas pages  :D :-\

We could move the event to the 27th??

I have had the date set aside for the CW event for a long time. I will not be doing Imber. It's a very interesting place to visit if you haven't done so previously, can't deny that, but I have been there.

Edit: GG posted whilst I did (I am slow today). If it does change to the 27th please let me know sooner than later.

I'm not going to Imber either. I've now been twice and I much preferred it on my first visit - a lot quieter  :)

Griff - did you say you might not be around at twixmas or has that now changed?

That's still all up in the air. At the moment, it's looking more likely that we will be around, but I can't say for sure yet  :-\ It'd have to be sorted within the next month, so I can say for definite soon.

Would be nice to have some new photos for Where in the World though  ;D
