Remember we want it nice and simple tonight so we can play SKITTLES.

Exactly  ;D

Thus why I never made an announcement when I initially read it  :)

A very enjoyable night and some good news about the room hire etc. ;D

As there was only a few of us the bar in the room was not open, the original quote of £25 would have paid for any extra bar staff if it had been.So we were only charged £10 for the room hire :)

Well after the raffle and donations we actually had £35 in the kitty. As Griff Grof had donated £10 i think he should have that back. That still leaves £15 to either carry over to the next event or donate to any charity suggested on here.

Your thoughts please and well done to the winners 8)

It was a slow start but worth waiting for as I think it went very well, the skittles pulled everyone together  :)

Wow, the raffle went well then ;D Yes, Griff should have his £10 back. Hmmm, the remaining £15, I see three options:
  • Fund for the next skittles event
  • Buy a geocoin and geotag as prizes for the next suitable event
  • Charitable donation but to whom?

My preference, fund for the next skittles :)

Thanks for having me lastnight, was great to meet people, and finally put some faces to names. Had a good evening.

I support the next skittle event hire for the money, a float towards things always works better, and it gives encouragement for the next event to come along!   ;D

Yes, a very, very enjoyable night for me too  ;D - we should definitely have another skittles, maybe in six months in September, as there are CW no events around then (only the On Tour in late August)  :) Also think we should maybe keep to Snowshill Arms, it was a lovely little room  ;D but anyway, that's ages away  :D

I don't mind if we donate to charity or contribute it to a future event  :) Thank you for offering my £10 back, how do I reclaim it?  ;)

A great event  ;D

Good news, I have found the location for our next event.

Go to Geocaching maps and search for Yerington, then have a look around.

Now is that Yerington USA, or Yerington United Kingdom, which comes up with a place near peterbourgh?
