Splash Mob 2015 (past event)
« on: January 21, 2015, 05:52:00 am »
Any thoughts yet if there will be one, and if it will be held on the day for www.gcwwfm.com? If one will be on that day, what would be the most likely time of day?

I am thinking of hosting my first flash mob this year on that day for CC, and so obviously do not want the times to clash, especially as I love to attend the CW splash mobs myself.

I guess that it's up to @walktall but I think the 13th would make sense and it may make it the biggest Splash Mob yet.

The CW Splash mob is usually held in June, so that would be the day to hold it on.

@Gackt, I see the 4th May is a bank holiday, so perhaps that day?

NO, NO, NO, NO

Bang in the middle of my end of year exams

There is another Bank Holiday at the end of May which I feel would be much more suitable :D

It was only a suggestion for @Gackt for a CC Flash Mob and I knew he likes the "May the 4th be with you" ::)

It is a bank holiday Monday and only for 15 mins ;)

What about the travelling there and back.
What about the having to find some other caches in the area.
What about the having to pick up any oddsies you pass on the way.
What about having to nip to the pub

15 minutes my arse ;)

"Having to nip to the pub" love it! ;D ..Griff Grof, see what caching does to you in later years, it's a slippery slope this game ;)  :D

Thanks for the ideas. I would be happy to do one earlier than the flash mob date, and a Star Wars one does sound fun. I actually wanted to do one on the flash mob day itself, I think it might boost the head count being on that day. If a CW splash mob is going to be on that day, and I'll take it that there is a good chance there will be, I just need to avoid the time of day so it doesn't clash.

I guess a splash mob would be middayish? So if I did something on CC early morning or late evening, that would work ok?

Yes, middayish so TJ can "nip to the pub" after :P

With the longer event time could have a 5 a side (or more) footy match (or other game).
