CacheWalker on Tour: Sugar, anyone? (past event)
« on: June 27, 2014, 06:55:09 pm »
It's time for another CacheWalker bash, this time on tour!
An Event at the top of Sugar Loaf, with a group walk up before the Event. All are welcome for either the pre-Event walk or the Event itself or both.

Sugar Loaf from Ysgyryd Fawr

The CacheWalker members are on tour again, a break from hosting many Events in the Cotswolds we have decided to go for something a bit more adventurous. We thought it was time we tackled another proper bloomin hill.

The Event will be held at the summit of Sugar Loaf at 12 noon on Saturday 19th July for just one hour. Hopefully the weather will be nice enough for us to have a sit down and enjoy a picnic.

If you wish to join us, there will be a group walk up, to include some of the caches already on Sugar Loaf. We will meet up at 10am at the ‘Parking with a view’ waypoint, for a group walk up starting at 10:15am – more details to follow.

If you fancy joining us for the walk up or just meet up for the Event at the summit, you can keep in touch with us via our CacheWalker forum, we gladly welcome anyone wishing to join us.

Disclaimer
All the usual blahdy, blah, blah which means you do everything at your own risk and I am responsible for absolutely nothing (including the weather). If you don't feel safe doing it, then don't do it. Simples

This Event was placed with the kind permission of Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol / National Trust.

Please feel free to stick the link in - it's not doing any harm.

And THAT is a reasonable reviewer - told you the others were exaggerating what the guidelines say  ;D

Will provide you with link banner tomorrow @walktall  ;D

Edit - is it meant to be in times new roman  ??? I thought the code said verdana  :o ;)

@Griff Grof

Are you talking about the Event page being in times new roman?

The HTML code says "<font face="“verdana”">"

Maybe it's those extra ' " ' causing the problem? For me, all appears in Times New Roman on the event page.

I hadn't noticed that but that wasn't what I typed, the site (geocaching.com) must have added them?

Gutted that I cannot make this one, always enjoyed the cachewalker events and this location looks excellent.

btw, that 'n' of the 'on tour' part of the logo is unfortunately placed...

@Griff Grof

You will be more happy with the Event page now but looking at the font, that's how it looked when I first created it - strange ::)
